Because Animals Matter (BAM) is a pet welfare organization dedicated to reducing animal abuse and neglect through education. BAM is based in Hurricane, Utah and serves the greater SW Utah area and beyond. BAM’s Homeless Animal Rescue Team (BAM’s H.A.R.T.) supports adoptable pets through a network of foster homes and a private facility. Beyond our humane education programs and adoptions BAM supports pets and people in need through Kibbles on Wheels, Meika’s Memorial Medical Fund, a Pet Food Pantry for low-income pet owners, access to low-cost spay/neuter services, and more.(435) 773-5209
