Oregon Dog Rescue is an all-breed, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is also a no-kill shelter, so the dogs stay at the facility until they find their families. The group was started in 2007 by Deb Bowen and Krystyna Schmidt, two women who, at the time, had 12 years of combined rescue experience. Our dogs come from overcrowded local shelters, owners who can no longer keep their dogs (following an evaluation), and from high-kill shelters in California. Our facility is in Tualatin and can accommodate up to 50 dogs at a time.(503) 819-1720
