The Austin Sheltie Rescue is the result of a cooperative effort by people in the Central Texas area to find permanent loving homes for abandoned, stray, or unwanted Shetland Sheepdogs.

The dogs live in foster homes where they receive medical attention and opportunities to interact with people and other animals until they can be matched with a “forever” home. They are groomed, vaccinated and altered before being offered for adoption and a nominal adoption fee is charged to partially cover these expenses.(512) 453-8094
