Notes

Rocky Mountain Newfoundland Rescue (RMNR) rescues Newfoundlands primarily in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico. RMNR also will rescue Newfs outside our region if a regional club or rescue is not available to assist a particular Newf in need. We work reciprocally with other rescues when needed.
Currently, we re-home approximately 30-35 purebred Newfoundlands yearly. The majority of the Newfoundlands adopted by RMNR are between 2 and 5 years of age, but we do get dogs of all ages. Occasionally get a “senior citizen” who is over 10 years of age and needs a retirement home. We will provide a senior Newf with permanent foster care and love until it passes. We seldom get young puppies. Our rescue dogs are either owner surrendered Newfoundlands, Newfs we obtain from shelters or breeders who don’t want to keep them.
All Newfs placed by RMNR are evaluated for temperament, vet checked, neutered or spayed, and are micro chipped for permanent identification.newfrescue@yahoo.com
