SQ Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, “no-kill” animal rescue group (primarily dogs) that has been rescuing dogs for over 20 years. Mary Escue and her husband Bill started the small rescue in Northeast Columbia, rescuing dogs that were found on the streets that other rescues would not take in and also rescuing dogs from abusive situations. They took in dogs that needed medical care as well, making sure the dogs were properly vetted and in some cases, treated for heartworms or other serious medical conditions such as broken bones and eye diseases. Today we continue that tradition but we also pull dogs that are in danger of being euthanized from shelters throughout the state.803-223-9729
