The Knox-Whitley Animal Shelter is a 501c3 registered non-profit organization located in Corbin, Kentucky, serving the following 4 counties: Knox, Whitley, Clay and McCreary. We are dedicated to placing abandoned or relinquished animals into appropriate homes. We accomplish this mission by working with volunteers, rescue groups, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio shelters, foster homes and veterinarians. Through our efforts, we rescue and place hundreds of animals per year in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We are also a community resource to pet owners by providing information on responsible pet ownership, education and assistance on the critical decision to spay and neuter pets and positive training methods.606-526-6925
