We are a home foster all breed rescue located in Freeport NY. We take unwanted dogs of all types into our homes and the homes of volunteers and find them permanent and safe homes to live out their lives. We also take in special needs dogs and dogs in need of hospice care and allow them to stay with us for the remainder of their days. We get no funding and work solely on donations and adoption fees. All the animals are vetted and well cared for in our homes and live like a part of the family they are with. We do not believe in boarding or kenneling any dog as that will not give us an appropriate take on their needs and what type of home they would need. We believe placing an animal in a new home is much like matchmaking and we do it so it will last. Very few of our placements are ever returned, perhaps 2 a year out of the hundreds we place, because of our knowledge of the dog prior to any adoption applications being taken.OurBestFriendsRescue@gmail.com
