I originally help found New Mexico Dachshund Rescue but with a relocation, I started up Sahuaro Dachshund Rescue in AZ. The two rescues are affiliates and we work as one, transporting and rescuing Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes. Every homeless dog that comes into our rescues will be spayed/neutered, receive all needed vaccinations, examined so other health issues can be treated and they will be micro-chipped. Each is fostered for evaluation so the dog will go to the new home most suited to that dogs’ needs. If the match does not work out, we require the dog be returned only to us and compensation is made on a case by case situation. We will not place known biters or an unhealthy dog if a health condition that is untreatable has been found. We want the end results to be happy adopters, happy pets and, hopefully, a forever home.520-818-1323
