The Lampasas Animal Shelter is a collaborative effort between the City of Lampasas and the County of Lampasas. Since our opening in September of 2009, the shelter has been providing services stray admission, owner surrender admission, lost pet reclaims, and adoption. We are an open admission facility, which means that we never turn away an animal brought in by a citizen or animal control officer from within Lampasas County. Our mission is to provide humane care to the unwanted or abandoned animals, and to assist the participating entities in enforcing state law and local ordinances.512-556-8586
